Velocity 2010 Dance Team Tryouts There will be a clinic March 23-30. Tryouts will be held March 31st at 6:30 pm. There will be an informational meeting on Monday, March 22nd in the RHS Gym at 6pm. There is a sign up sheet in the RMS Office.

Soles4Souls Russell residents are invited to recycle their 'gently worn' shoes for people in need. These shoes will go to an organizaton called Soles4Souls. To donate your 'gently worn' shoes or for more information please call or come into the RMS Office. The RMS Student Council will be having a competition between encore classes to help support the Soles for Souls shoe drive. Details will be coming.

Summer Basketball There will be a summer basketball league in Bennington, Kansas for 7th & 8th grade boys & girls. This session will run from June 1st-July 5th. Carpooling from Russell will be set up. If you have any questions on this call the RMS office (483-3174) or stop by the office for an informational packet. Deadline is May 1, 2010.

Junior Bronco News Each month Ruppenthal Middle School Faculty nominate and elect a JUNIOR BRONCO from each grade level. These students show a postitive attitude and display good citizenship. Each of them will recieve a treat from the Russell McDonald's, a certificate and lunch courtesy of the Middle School. Winners for the month of March are: 6th Grade-Kyleigh Kasper; 7th Grade-Jeffrey Blundon; 8th Grade-Kaden Rohr. Congratulations to these students!

Kleenex Each student was required to bring 2 boxes of kleenex as part of their 'school supplies'. If you did not bring them, we are asking that you do so now, we are out. If you did bring them and would like to donate more, we would really appreciate it! Just bring them into the office. Thanks!

Save The Date!! RMS will have its annual Russell Invitational Tournament on Thursday, April 22, 2010. It will be held at Russell High School, with a starting time of 1pm. Plan to attend if you can!!!

Russell High School Cheer Tryouts There is a signup sheet in the office for anyone interested in Russell High School Cheerleading next year. Please signup before Tuesday, March 23rd. Information packets will be in the office on Monday, March 30th, for you to pick up.
